IMILAB, which forms part of the Xiaomi Ecosystem, is best known for its cameras, and is a leading supplier of security devices in China, with over 14 million products sold since 2014. As the company expanded into wearables, it quickly found success with its KW66, launched in 2020. This year, two new models, notably the W11 and W12, were added to the lineup.
W11
The IMILAB W11 is notable by its minimalist and luxurious design. The case is finely crafted from zinc alloys, and remains smudge-free thanks to its matte finish. At only 21.9 grams and 11.4 mm thickness, it is suitable to be worn everyday, while also being backed by a 30 days (standby) battery life.
The 1.09″ touch screen shows messages, app notifications, and calls at a glance.
W12
The W12 is also made of zinc alloys, but undergoes a ten-step CNC polishing, for a more shiny finish. The screen is a larger at 1.32″ 3D curve, and is more geared towards sports and everyday activities. It also features 13 sports mode and SpO2 (Blood Oxygen) monitoring.
